Marshall morgan – What a week!

Hi Everyone & Greetings from the Flagstaff Area National Monuments!

This past week was one of my most interesting and unique weeks! This past week a group of reporters and trade members from Guadalajara and Mexico City were on a familiarization trip in Flagstaff, Arizona. I had the special opportunity to meet with the group and to serve as the ambassador for the Flagstaff Area National Monuments. In addition to meeting with the reporters and trade members as the ambassador for the Flagstaff Area National Monuments, I was able to meet with the Arizona Office of Tourism and members of the city of Flagstaff government.

During our time together, I was able to join them at a couple of Flagstaff landmarks such as Little America and Beaver Street Brewery. Additionally, I had the opportunity to take them on a guided tour of Walnut Canyon National Monument, which is one of the National Park sites that I am interning with. During the tour, I was able to provide insight of the monuments history, I answered questions, and I even had the opportunity to give an interview for a reporter based in Guadalajara, Mexico.

One of the amazing places that I got to join them at was the famous Beaver Street Brewery in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Opening its doors in 1994 , Beaver Street Brewery is associated as the oldest brewpub in Flagstaff.

As a result of its unique history this location is a landmark in the city’s brewery industry and downtown life.

I was grateful that I had the opportunity to meet with the Guadalajara/Mexico City Trade Fam! Everyone was so welcoming and it was an experience that I will never forget!

Until next week, I hope you all have a great week and make sure to explore your National Parks!
