We are finishing up celebrating Latino Conservation Week by posting the final video of our 3 videos. We focused on the nature and the ways that our community continues to use their culture to conserve our environment. We got many likes and comments on our Facebook pages.
A follower commented that they hope to see more Spanish videos in the future. I think it was the correct move to make our video series in Spanish. A large demographic of San Antonio is Hispanic and Spanish-speaking, so hearing their native tongue helped them familiarize and relate with the videos.
This week has been a great experience and very eye opening. I have attended several webinars and listened to people talk over this topic. I hope to encourage and inspire those around me to take part and make most of what we have to conserve our world and enjoy our nature for many years to come.
