My first week at Lewis and Clark National Historical Park has been great! On my first day, I got to walk around the park and get familiarize myself with the area. In addition, I had the opportunity to work on a flyer promoting a Spanish paddling event which I plan to lead in July :D. I am pretty pumped about doing community outreach to promote this upcoming event! Since I’ve been here, I’ve had the opportunity to explore Astoria, which has some of the hilliest streets that I’ve ever come across. By the time I am done with my internship here, I am sure I will have some horse legs from all the uphill running. In addition, I am happy to have a fellow Texan at the park, Ranger Izzy. Excited to see what next week will bring! #(TX)^2
