09 Jul Plants, Plants, and more Plants!

I honestly would have never guessed how much I would be learning about plants in this internship. I was never really a plant guy, but this has opened my eyes to a whole new world.  I know, I know, it seemed obvious, but I never had the push to go out of my way to learn about them until now.

It’s freaking amazing and the best part is that I get to eat some of them…I have been stuffing my face on berries ever since I learned how to find them. Don’t get me started about these hikes, too, my gosh! I feel like I’m in an episode of Planet Earth, and at some point I am imagining David Attenborough narrating my whole experience while seeing the wildlife out here. Fun fact…pikas are the cutest things in existence up close.
