Hi everyone! My name is Xochitl Lopez, my pronouns are she, her, and ella.

 I’m a National Park Service and Environment for the Americas intern through the Latino Heritage Internship Program.

 This summer, I will be working as a Park Planning Fellow at the Pacific West Region’s Park Planning and Environmental Compliance Program office in San Francisco, CA.

 During my time as a Park Planning Fellow, I will help NPS staff and partners cultivate strong relationships through the park planning process which involves working with multiple disciplines, park stakeholders, and members of the public.

 I’m looking forward to making contributions to the conservation and protection of Native lands, as well as increasing efforts to make National Parks accessible for all.
