Over the bridge and across the sea, to the blue building I go!

I would like to take this time to boast about my amazing location, the NPS Chesapeake Bay Office, in beautiful downtown historical Annapolis, just past the Pearl Harbor Memorial Bridge, overlooking a large body of water. My office sits adjacent to a large window displaying the vast Severn River and a myriad of boats! Check out the photos and feel the envy! Interesting tidbits about Annapolis:

1. At one point, Annapolis became the temporary capital of the United States (1783)
2. If you type my name (Amapola) into a text it will be auto corrected to Annapolis (peculiar!)

I am here Monday through Wednesday! A short walk away from a tourist spot in a sea of adorable shops, historical landmarks, and restaurants!

This is the 14 mile Severn River (What I see when I look out the window!)
