This week there has definitely been a lot of students visiting the park considering that the school year here is about to wrap up. On Wednesday we went down to Portland to get our PIV cards and that was a pretty cool trip, we even tried out a Mexican restaurant. The coolest part about this day was getting to stop by Nike HQ and getting a lap in at the Michael Johnson track. I would say that Thursday was the highlight. Ranger Alicea and I went around the community and did some outreach. We promoted the summer camps that LEWI is going to be hosting as well as the Spanish paddle on July 21st. I hope the info gets out to people and they come out!
