My site is Zion National Park. It is one of the most magical places I have visited, and I’ve been to Disney. It is far out west in the United Sates, meaning we are directly in the west desert, Mojave to be specific. Hello. Zion National Park is composed of Zion Canyon, which is the main Canyon where I work directly out of. There is also Co love Canyon, Wildcat Canyon, on the east side of the park. And many other wonderful spots to explore. The. Southwestern. US. These large Canyon walls are made up of various layers. Of rock, including Navajo sandstone, Kayenta. Mudstone Formations. And many others date way back further than dinosaurs. Zion National Park. Is. A sight that allows us to. Enjoy the parks. Wonderful diversity in culture. Ecology and. Atmosphere. It is a. Dry desert climate with little to no humidity. During my time of arrival, we were during monsoon season, so although deserts do not receive much rain during monsoon season, we were gifted with. Heavy downpours for most of the day. To awaken. That created flash floods. In the Virgin River, which flows down the center of the main Canyon, and in other parts of the park. My park housing is a wonderful 1920s dormitory with 14 bedrooms. Just off the entrance of the park, it is a cool neighborhood filled with other Park Rangers and. Law enforcement. We are extremely fortunate to have a gorgeous mountain range right behind our house, in our backyard. There are several social trails that surround our housing making it easy for us to walk to work or just enjoy a stroll down into the main Rd. Without having to join the traffic commotion. Having the Virgin River at our disposal is so wonderful. Rarity. The Virgin River is gorgeous, and besides, during a flash flood, it is amazing how clear the water runs. There are various sites. which have been required for many years has taken the liberty to show us amazing spots here. We went to a stop called Sneaky Beach which is a river access on our Paris trail. That allows us to enter the Virgin River and enjoy the soft sand along the riverbank. Another similar spot is our stock #8, also known as Big Bend. This is another beach like access to the Virgin River. That allows you to see river Rapids., hikers. Ascending to Angel’s landing, and. My favorite part seeing. A couple of of condors fly. Above us. As they. Land. In their nesting area along the Cliff. I also enjoy going over to the east side of our park. To get there, turn right on. Injunction. Canyon. Allowing you to ascend the switchbacks that eventually lead to Mount Carmel Tunnel. Umm, on the east side, which is another region of about 6 to 7000 feet (about 2.13 km). ItIt is a lot cooler up there.his region also allows us to see desert bighorn sheep. A rewarding experience and one of my favorite places in the park.
