Last week at Blackstone River Valley!

Hello everyone, this weekend I worked my final shift at the Blackstone River Valley National Park. As part of my last project, I wrote and provided the images for an all-new webpage in the Park’s website with information about Dams, their history, and legacy. This web page is now live and can be found in the park’s website! In addition, I created a handout with similar information for park visitors, which will be available at the park after it has passed several reviews and edits. I also created a version of this handout for children, with a more condensed version of this information available. Finally, I put all the information, documents, and work I have created into an organized drive for future interns to be able to add to and expand upon! 

I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this internship and learn about the National Park Service as I discovered new locations across Rhode Island, interacted with people and helped to make the park’s resources available to as many people as possible. I enjoyed my time here immensely and working with everyone around me was truly a pleasure every day.
