14 Aug Last week as an LHIP Intern!

This week is my last week as an LHIP intern, but not my last week helping my community.

This internship has allowed me to see from the perspective of working inside a National Park. I aim to only grow from this experience and influence those around me to be appreciative of their national parks. I am proud of the work I contributed for Latino Conservation Week, and hope to continue influencing the community positively. 

I am appreciative for this opportunity that has influenced me to create an impact on my community. I have met wonderful people this summer. Although I never physically met anyone, all of the LHIP interns are passionate for their work. Seeing the hard work and passion from many of the team members across the nation and locally gives me a deeper appreciation for the nature and all their efforts in preserving the parks.
