02 Dec Education & Interpretation Intern

Website Pullman National Historical Site
This intern will collaborate with the Education Coordinator to develop educational resources for K-12 schools, writing content for the monthly education newsletter, and contributing to interpretive programs at the Visitor Center. The Education & Interpretation Intern will have the chance to engage with community members and partner organizations as they learn about the fundamental principles behind public interpretation, pedagogical methods, and historical research. They will also be able to explore federal employment opportunities and diverse career fields in federal land management agencies. The primary project will be determined according to the intern’s skill set and interests, but can include a traveling trunk program, a field trip program or lesson series, or a public program based on recent park research.
