Introduction Post

Hello, my name is MacEva Wright! I recently graduated from the University of North Georgia (UNG), earning a Bachelors of Science in Biology. During my time at UNG, I developed a love for research, conservation, and science communication. In the near future, I intend to work towards earning a Masters degree in conservation ecology/environmental studies and pursuing a career in environmental policy and protection.

Having the opportunity to work as an intern at Grand Canyon National Park through LHIP and NPS will help me achieve those goals by allowing me to strengthen prior skills, gain a new skillset, and learn new ways to communicate with others about science. I am so excited to start working with everyone involved in the program this summer, and I cannot wait to share all that I’ve learned from this experience in the future!
