17 May Introduction – Manuel santos

Hello everyone! My name is Manuel Santos and I am a recent (as of last Saturday, May 17th 2021) Graphic Design and Art History minor graduate from Loyola University New Orleans. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and always had a passion for the arts and anything that had to do with creativity. I love movies, music, art, design, games, comics, skating – you name it. I also love problem solving and that is a big part of graphic design, which is one of the many reason I enjoy the field. Starting at the end of this month I will be a Graphic Designer Visual Information Specialist at New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park and I am beyond excited to stay and work in this beautiful and historic city. I will be conducting a number of projects, but mainly video production that will culminate in a music video in collaboration with other musician interns. I am looking forward to working with these musicians as well as creating works for the museum that can highlight the importance and beauty of Jazz and its history.
