03 Jun From Copper to Peach

Hola, my name is Suhey and I am located to Atlanta, Georgia this summer! I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and currently attend Arizona State University. I am super excited to engage in a new city this summer along with experiencing a new internship! My position will be in the Community and Next Generation department with the Southeast Regional Office in Downtown Atlanta. I will be staying in a historical house right around the corner of the Martin Luther King Jr National Historic Site (President Obama almost lived here too!). I arrived Friday before Memorial Day Weekend and I had the chance to explore a bit of Atlanta. I first visited the Center for Human and Civil Rights near the Georgia Aquarium (next on my list to do!) and Olympic Park; I also got to see the house that Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. grew up in and where he rests along with his wife. I am going to make a list of all the things I want to do in Georgia/Atlanta this summer and I hope I get to cross them all off by the end of my internship (both at my internship and in the city)!
