16 Jun Freedom Riders National Monument

This week was all about research and understanding the story of the Freedom Riders. I also visited the site of where the bus was burned in Anniston, Alabama. It was incredible to see the place that held such a rich history. My supervisor, Reggie Tiller, and I have a few conference calls later today that pertain to upcoming projects. I am thrilled to be able to be a part of sharing the Freedom Riders story in any way I can. I definitely look forward to next week and the rest of the summer.
