Farewell!

My summer in Death Valley has been one that I will truly never forget. I feel that I have grown in every aspect of my life. Professionally, I have learned so much from my supervisor, my project, and my coworkers. The work experience that I feel I have gotten will hopefully allow me to be knowledgeable and experienced in my next position, whatever it may be. I learned about the workplace, and how to see a project through. I am so grateful for the professional growth that this internship has given me. Socially, I am so happy that I met the friends that I met here. I have built an amazing community, which I will never forget. I will be keeping in contact with many of the awesome people who I’ve worked with during this summer internship. Environmentally, Death Valley has taught me a lot. How to survive in extreme heat, how to enjoy natural beauty whatever it may be, and how to live in a constant environmentally conscious way. I will definitely be returning to Death Valley as soon as I can because I feel that I have many more days ahead of me in this extremely special place.
