23 Jun A Brief Visual Tour of Manzanar

In my previous post, I mentioned that one of my projects was to help create a Garden Walking Tour. Once developed into a brochure or small booklet (still brainstorming there) it will be published and handed out to visitors who would like a bit more guidance on accessing the Japanese gardens that have been uncovered here at Manzanar.   As promised, I’ve finally compiled a gallery of several points of interest to see along the Auto/Driving Tour, which surrounds much of the site, and our (developing) Garden walking tour.   Some of these spots will also be featured in the bilingual tour program I’ll be conducting for Latino Conservation Week.
