5 States, 2.5 Days, 2 Latinas, and A world full of adventures.

If I told you that I visited 5 states in two days, would you believe me? Well, believe it or not, Thursday and Friday my roommate and I decided to go on a two day road trip. We actually left after work on Wednesday so technically it was 2.5 days but who’s counting right? We drove up to Montana on Wednesday. We originally were going to visit Glacier National Park, but had been advised against it due to the fires and road closures.map 2 From Montana we drove to Sandpoint, Idaho which had been voted in 2013 as one of the most beautiful places to visit. From Idaho we drove to Seattle, Washington and our first stop was the Space Needle. Vanessa (my roommate) and I had always wanted to visit Washington, so as soon as we saw the sign we were completely blown away. From the skyscrapers to the Seattle Seahawks’ stadium to the Space Needle, we knew that the 15 hour drive was completely worth it. We walked around, bought some souvenirs and took pictures. We took in what the state had to offer before we made our way down to Portland, Oregon. We arrived in Portland at night so we weren’t able to take in too much of the sights, but the night lights were amazing! We stayed the night in a small little room just about 12 miles from the capital. Trust me when I say that the sleep was much needed. The next day we woke up bright and early for the long ride back to Wyoming. We drove from Oregon along the Columbia River to Idaho Falls. We finally arrived in Wyoming at 12am on Saturday morning. To say we were exhausted was an understatement, but words will never do the trip justice. The 30 hour round trip was worth it, especially when you are in a car with someone as amazing as my partner in crime, Vanessa. It was great having the opportunity to get out and see what the rest of the world has to offer, and even though we didn’t have much time to experience it all, it was such a privilege to go out and just take it all in.
